TVC Recipe-Chicken & Vegetable Casserole

ingredients

  • 1tbsp Oil
  • 1kg Chicken Thigh Chops
  • 5 Green Shallots cut into 5cm lengths
  • 1 Garlic Clove, crushed
  • 2cups Chicken Stock
  • 200g Green Beans, trimmed halved
  • 250g Carrots, chopped
  • 200g Sugar Snap Peas, trimmed
  • 6tbs GRAVOX Traditional Canister Gravy Powder

Method

  1. Heat oil in a large frying pan and brown chicken. Add green shallots and cook until soft. Add garlic and stir. Place in a casserole dish.
  1. Pour over chicken stock and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 40 minutes or until chicken is cooked. Add vegetables and simmer for 5 minutes or until tender.
  1. Sprinkle in GRAVOX Traditional Canister Gravy Powder and stir until sauce thickens.

TIP: You can buy a whole chicken and cut it into 8 pieces for this recipe.
