ingredients
1 hard-to-track-down teenager
1 busier-than-I-am preschooler
1 working-late partner
2 tbsp Oil
800g sliced beef, lamb, chicken, or pork
1 Onion, finely sliced
1 tbsp sweet paprika
300g Mushrooms, finely sliced
1 Gravox Traditional Lamb & Rosemary Liquid Gravy Family Pack
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup lemon, juiced (optional)
400g Pappardelle or other pasta
Fresh parsley, to serve
method
Heat oil in large frying pan. Fry meat in batches until browned, then set aside. Turn heat to low and sauté butter and onion until soft.
Add paprika and mushrooms. Sauté for 3 minutes, until soft.
Combine with Gravox Liquid Gravy and sour cream then return meat to pan, stirring until warmed through. Meanwhile, cook pasta to pack directions.
Set the table with family, then finish with a squeeze of lemon juice, a few pinches of parsley, several dollops of laughter, and a light sprinkle of ‘what a good night to be home’.
