Gravox Recipe

Mid-week roast chicken.

ingredients

  • 1 Gravox Roast Chicken & Herb
  • 1 medium sized family, preferably whole
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 chicken marylands
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary or thyme
  • 2 small red onions, cut into thin wedges
  • 6 small potatoes, halved
  • 6 small carrots, halved lengthways
  • salt and pepper
  • greens or salad, to serve

method

  1. Pre-heat oven to 220˚C. Heat oil in a non-stick pan and fry chicken marylands skin-side down for 2 to 3 minutes, until golden.
  1. Arrange vegetables in a roasting dish with chicken and sprinkle over salt and pepper. Tuck in herbs and place in pre-heated oven for 30 minutes. Throw another sprinkle of salt over left-shoulder for luck.
  1. Heat Gravox Roast Chicken & Herbs Liquid Gravy as per pack directions.
  1. Serve with roast vegetables, lashings of gravy and whole family.
